Abstract
Volatile components from leaves and flowers of Citrus limetta (Lemon), Citrus sinensis (Orange), Citrus medica (Cedrum), and Citrus maxima (Pomelo) were identified and analyzed by HS (headspace)-GC-MS on the Combi-PAL System technique. Constituents separated from leaf samples in lemon oil were Limonene (40.8%), Linalool (23.2%), and Citronellal (21.7%), and (E)-β -Ocimene (9.3%), Linalool (10.3%), 8-3-Carene (8.6%) were detected in leaf volatile of C. sinensis. The principal compounds form Cedrum flower oil were Limonene (73.7%), (E)-β -Ocimene (6.6%), and Linalool (13.0%). Main compounds in C. grandis leaf were Sabinene (5.2%), β -pinene (8.0%), Limonene (35.9%), (E)-β -Ocimene (7.4%), Linalool (22.1%), and Citronellal (15.6%).
